Last Call to Help Hero-Dogs.Org!

You've got two days! (How many remember that old commercial?)

November 11th--Veterans Day (see what we did there?)--is the last day you can purchase an e-copy of the critically acclaimed* Pets in Space anthology and have 10% of the profits go to assist Hero-Dogs.org.

Hero Dogs is an organization that provides service dogs and companion animals to disabled military veterans, and we want our contribution to Hero Dogs to be as large as possible to help this great organization!

What a great way to honor our vets for Veterans Day, yes?

*What do I mean by "critically acclaimed?" Just read the stellar reviews...more than 50 of them on Amazon alone...right here.

So in the event you've been vacationing in the Andromeda Galaxy for the last month and haven't had a chance to grab your copy, I'll include a recap of the nine fantastic Pets in Space stories below so you can see all the fun and adventure you've been missing.

Plus! Many of these tales tie directly to other SFR series and act as wonderful introductions to these imaginative universes as well as being delightful stand alone stories of their own. Most of these stories are much more than just short reads--many are in the novella and novelette range--and the overall anthology is a hefty 165,000 words!

This also marks the end of my individual campaign to support Hero Dog Mitch--one of the advanced Hero Dogs in training that I "adopted" as a side project in connection with the Pets in Space campaign. "Mitch" is a lovely yellow Lab who is described by his handlers as "quite a personality!"

Want to see a quick clip of Mitch and some of his peers in action?

I've been making contributions toward Mitch's training, and I up the amount each time there's a comment on a Pets in Space blog, guest blog, or informational blog. This one included!

So far, I've donated over $31 to Mitch's training. You can help bump up my final contribution just by saying a few words in comments below--about Pets In Space, Hero Dogs, Hero Dog Mitch or anything related.
